Jeff Stukey
Executive Director &
Chairman of the Board

Jeff is the founder of Ambassadors of Dignity (AOD). A seasoned entrepreneur, educator, and ministry leader, Jeff brings a rare blend of strategic insight and pastoral compassion to his work.
Jeff gave his life to Christ in 1975 at the age of 25 and has been actively involved in lay ministry ever since. Over the decades, he has faithfully served the local church, particularly through leading small group Bible studies and developing discipleship resources. He created and taught Life Group 101, a foundational course for new small group leaders. He co-led a team of 15 in designing, developing, and editing Who Am I Becoming?, a spiritually formative curriculum used by his church. Jeff’s heart for teaching and equipping others continues to shape his work with Ambassadors of Dignity.
Jeff holds an MBA degree and has taught classes at Wichita State University, Truman State University, and Emporia State University. He served as a full-time instructor at Truman State for two years. Over the course of his career, he launched two successful businesses: Stukey Consulting Inc. (1992–2000) and Wichita Wealth Management LLC (2005–2021). Between those ventures, he served as Assistant Director of Morning Star Ranch, which was a ministry of World Impact, where he managed the finances and communications and mentored young men from America’s inner cities.

After selling his business in January 2022, Jeff and his wife Margaret felt a growing call to walk alongside immigrant families in practical, relational, and hope-filled ways. That journey led to the founding of Ambassadors of Dignity. Under Jeff’s leadership, AOD has become a catalyst for mobilizing churches, equipping volunteers, supporting urban schools with a high percentage of immigrant families like Ortiz Elementary, and meeting the emergency needs of immigrants. Jeff is passionate about merging Gospel-shaped justice with everyday action.
Jeff and Margaret have three children and four grandchildren. Jeff loves to hike and bike and explore. He and Margaret are well on their way to checking off their bucket list goal of hiking in all 50 states—currently at 47 and counting. Jeff is an avid reader with a deep appreciation for books on history, justice, and the experiences of society’s most vulnerable.
After retiring in 2022, Jeff found himself drifting—just another bored Baby Boomer trying to figure out what was next in life. But everything changed when he began engaging with his immigrant neighbors. While he’s still a Boomer, he’s now semi-retired and he’s definitely no longer bored. In fact, he’s more energized than ever.
“If there is a defining test for this generation of Evangelicals, I believe it might be found in the degree to which we embrace our immigrant neighbors. In an age marked by contempt for those who are not like us, our loving response to immigrants may well be one of the most tangible expressions of Christ’s love to a world that desperately needs an authentic Gospel witness.”
