Looking Ahead: The Need
12 Month Budget for
Immigration Support $72,000

Immigration Forms — $22,700; 32%
Immigration paperwork is one of the biggest hurdles for immigrant families. Our budget allocates funds for applications and renewals that open doors for stability and opportunity, including DACA, green cards, work permits, work visas, and more. Each represents a family moving closer to security, dignity, and the chance to flourish. Note: we are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice.

Elementary Schools — $14,600; 20%
Elementary schools that have a high percentage of immigrant families are more than schools — they are community hubs where many immigrant families find connection and support. Our budget supports a range of events and resources that build bridges between the schools and families, strengthening relationships, supporting student learning, and affirming families as vital members of the community. Presently, we are supporting Ortiz Elementary. We plan to add another school within the next twelve months.

Living Expenses — $12,200; 17%
Everyday needs can quickly become overwhelming for immigrant families in crisis or who are starting over from scratch. Our budget helps with rent, utilities, and other essentials that provide stability so families can focus on rebuilding their lives.

Admin Support — $8,600; 12%
Behind every act of compassion is the quiet but essential work of administration. No one in our organization receives a salary. In some circumstances, we do hire contractors to help with paperwork.

Groceries — $5,400; 8%
Food is one of the most tangible ways to love our neighbors. This budget provides families in crisis with groceries.

Other Immigrant Needs — $5,200; 7%
Other needs include items such as: hats and gloves, help with a funeral service, help with emergency medical expenses, clothes, beds, etc. These gifts demonstrate love to our immigrant neighbors in times of need.

Border Perspective — $3,000; 5%
We support Border Perspective, a Christ-centered ministry on the U.S.–Mexico border that equips churches and individuals to see immigration firsthand and respond with compassion. Jeff Stukey, the executive director of Ambassadors of Dignity, and his wife were deeply impacted by experiencing these realities themselves. Our partnership helps sustain this vital work of hospitality and discipleship.

Note: In most cases, the funds we provide to immigrant families cover only part of their need. In special situations, however, we may provide full support.
