B2B Collaborative Framework

The Bridges to Belonging (B2B) Collaborative Framework provides a shared foundation for supporting the USD 259 Newcomer Program. It brings together schools, families, educators, volunteers, and community partners around a common mission, vision, and set of values focused on belonging, learning, opportunity, partnership, and mutual flourishing. The framework helps guide how our community can work together so Newcomer students and families can move from arrival to belonging.

B2B Collaborative Overview

The Bridges to Belonging (B2B) Collaborative Overview introduces how USD 259 Multilingual Services, Newcomer educators, the Wichita Public Schools Foundation, and Ambassadors of Dignity are working together to support Newcomer students and families. It explains the growing need, how the collaborative works, and the many ways individuals, churches, businesses, and community organizations can help Wichita’s newest neighbors move from arrival to belonging.

2025/2026 School Year

There were about 900 students in the Newcomer Program during the 2025/2026 school year with nine elementary, three middle and three high schools. Below is a list of the schools that were in the Newcomer Program. For the 2026/2027 school year, we are piloting a B2B Collaborative Program at Colvin and hope to add other schools in the future.
